Make a difference in Milwaukee by delivering hot meals to our seniors and shut-ins! Horizon Home Care & Hospice has several Meals On Wheels routes in the Milwaukee metro area and some outlying suburbs. If interested in joining our team of dedicated volunteer delivery drivers, please contact us today for more information! As you might expect, the demand for home delivered meals has increased since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please consider donating a little of your time to help us guarantee that everyone in our community can get the help that they need. To ensure your safety, and the safety of those receiving meals, Horizon follows all CDC guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: Wearing a mask/face covering Maintaining social distancing of 6 feet or more Self-quarantining if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, chills, cough or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea) Washing hands and/or sanitizing often Disinfecting work areas before and after use Horizon will provide all necessary protective equipment and supplies to ensure that all safe practices can be followed.
