Overview
CTG is seeking to fill an Enterprise Security Consultant opening for our client.
Location:
Remote Duration:
3 months
Duties:
Lead and design enterprise cloud migration architecture solutions for multi-cloud environments, primarily AWS, with exposure to Azure, ICP, and other platforms.
Build and implement migration solutions for hybrid cloud platforms, including on-prem, off-prem, and dedicated cloud environments.
Develop migration strategies, identify appropriate migration tools, and define network, application, database, and integration migration pathways.
Guide teams in selecting and adopting migration methods such as rehost, refactor, rearchitect, replatform, and containerization.
Conduct migration methodology workshops and tailor approaches based on client environment and industry.
Partner with migration project managers to contribute technical expertise for work breakdown structures, estimation, risk assessment, dependencies, and minimum viable products (MVPs).
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on AWS services and map client platform/application requirements to AWS services and configurations.
Skills:
Strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, services, and migration solutions.
Proficiency in hybrid and multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, ICP).
Hands-on experience with migration tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Ability to design secure and scalable migration strategies.
Strong leadership skills to guide teams and conduct workshops.
Knowledge of application modernization and containerization approaches.
Experience:
Significant experience leading cloud migration projects in enterprise environments.
Proven track record designing and implementing migration solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Demonstrated ability to serve as an SME for cloud migration strategies, tools, and risk management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Advanced certifications in AWS or cloud migration methodologies .
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
