We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plant Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the optimization and continuous improvement of our plant operations by focusing on electrical/electronic components, equipment, and systems. You will collaborate closely with production, maintenance personnel, and management to maintain seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead automation initiatives and provide training and troubleshooting for major system failures. Conduct software backups and engage in research and development activities to enhance equipment functionality. Modify Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to support operational processes, with experience in systems such as: GE innovation series controllers Toshiba NV controllers RX3i controllers GE Genius Block I/O networks Siemens S7/TIA Allen Bradley P Modify Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for operational support, with skills in: GE Cimplicity Ignition WIN CC Rockwell Automation Manage electrical and network components, including: IBA Analytical tool Computer networking Cisco switching/router configuration ABB LV and MV drives Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Proficient in AC/DC controls, motors, and drives. Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems while adhering to operational and safety standards. Strong skills in PLC programming and ladder logic development, especially with Rockwell and Siemens S7-1516. Understanding of PLC communication protocols, particularly Profibus and Profinet. Competent in troubleshooting automation, communication, and HMI-related equipment issues. Proficient in MS Office and data acquisition software, such as IBA/PDA. Ability to work effectively both in an office and in-field environment.
