About Our Client
My client is a highly profitable branch of a global manufacturer of high quality medical equipment. Due to increased demand, they are expanding their production capabilities here in IL, and seek a talented Manufacturing Engineer to help take the site to the next level.
Job Description
Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and documentation. Analyze process data and address non-conformances, low yields, or quality issues. Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime using RCA and CI methods. Support and lead cross-functional projects; mentor junior engineers and technical staff. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 (CGMP). Implement new equipment and processes from specification to validation. Develop training materials and support technical onboarding for manufacturing personnel. Participate in audits and maintain plant-wide ISO quality standards. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. 2+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device preferred). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, RCA, and process validation. Familiarity with CAD tools and ERP systems (e.g., IQMS). Strong understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills. What's on Offer
