Junior Engineer
to support our Navy customer in
Port Hueneme, CA.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Position/Job Description:
General Tasking Description:
Participate in various meetings including Integrated Product Teams, Waterfront Support, and Engineering Support/Working Groups (i.e. hardware, configuration, fleet, etc.), Data Analysis Working Groups (DAWGs), Enterprise Test and Evaluation Working Groups (TEWGs), Test Control Panels, Readiness Review, Program Managers Reviews, Navy Peer Review Teams, and others. Apply theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Assist in assembling an engineering design model and performing test and evaluation procedures on the final equipment set or component. This includes assistance throughout the process to ensure the equipment meets performance and reliability standards. Assist in troubleshooting issues within a system or equipment, which includes identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems or malfunctions. This process requires investigation, analysis, and testing to determine the root cause of the issue and to implement corrective measures effectively, thereby restoring functionality. Perform engineering analysis and/or reviews of systems engineering initiatives and develop synopsis reports identifying trend areas and/or deficiencies that support systems engineering efforts. Experience Requirements:
1 - 3 years of providing engineering support to the US Navy is a plus Educational & Certification Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in engineering.
