We are working with specialty construction company in Elkridge, MD. They are a family-owned business and have been around for over 40 years providing installations throughout MD, DC, and Northern VA. They install acoustical wall paneling for soundproofing/reducing noise within commercial businesses, higher education, factories, and churches. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, organized, and able to manage their time well. Their primary focus will be to aid in quantity takeoffs for competitive bids. The role would extend into generating formal proposals, creating submittal packages, and maintaining document logs.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn new skills and take on roles of increasing responsibility Excellent Communication Skills Good Attendance Record Self-motivated Responsibilities:
Ability to read and interrupt Architectural Drawings Experience within Division 9 familiarity is a plus (acoustical scopes) Prepare Quantity Takeoffs Prepare submittals for awarded jobs:
Shop Drawings Product Dat Samples Safety Manual AH Change Orders Shop Work Order for Mock-Up Samples Closeout documents
Gather and Maintain Project Details:
Preliminary schedule Site/Security requirements Site contacts Lifts/scaffolding requirements Research & Review Hardware Requirements
Maintain Log to Track submittal approvals and change orders Additional tasks assigned as required Programs:
BlueBeam, Google Sheets, Adobe & MS Office Excel, Word, and Outlook. AutoCAD is a plus (not required)
This position offers a yearly salary from 55,000 to $65,000 (based on expereince) and includes medical, dental and vision insurance (which is 50% to 70% paid for), paid holidays, and 401k w/ 4% company match.
