12 Hour Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) Hours per Week:
36 Assignment Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 09/07/2025 - End: 12/06/2025) Weekend/Holiday Rotation:
Every third weekend; includes at least one holiday during assignment Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Current BLS certification Ability to pass health screenings and competency testing Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to work weekend and holiday rotations Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Medical Surgical unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress Administer prescribed medications and treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care Maintain accurate and timely medical records Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
