As a key member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team at Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center, the Occupational Therapist (OT) provides high-quality occupational therapy services to inpatient and acute care patients. This role involves conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy interventions aimed at improving patient function and quality of life. The OT will also maintain accurate documentation and collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs following physician referral. Develop comprehensive, age-appropriate plans of care based on occupational therapy evaluations. Administer therapeutic treatments and interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Document patient treatments accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Respond effectively to new and changing work assignments and patient care requirements. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an A.O.T.A accredited school - Required Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an A.O.T.A accredited school - Highly Desired Minimum of 2 years OT experience - Required Current Texas Occupational Therapy License - Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Required Effective verbal and written communication skills - Required Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced acute care environment About HonorVet Technologies
