Overview

Aperio Global is seeking a highly skilled

Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence Engineer

to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that support advanced data collection, automation, and analytics. The role requires expertise in training models, developing complete AI-driven systems, and applying cutting-edge research to operational environments. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects with a strong focus on innovation, automation, and applied AI in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities Train machine learning models across a wide range of applications, including: Automated code synthesis for web scraping "Self-healing" automation of scrapes and data pipelines Visual object detection in video (e.g., vehicles, license plates, etc.) Automated review and analysis of corporate terms of service Open-source data collection and integration into Sponsor-owned AI/ML systems Build complete AI-based systems, integrating multiple models, human-review processes, ETL pipelines, and databases. Develop and productize AI solutions for operational use, including system updates, break/fix support, and enhancements. Research and evaluate state-of-the-art AI/ML technologies to integrate into Sponsor efforts. Collaborate across teams and stakeholders to design, scale, and align AI solutions with mission and business objectives. Frame and scale data problems for analysis, visualization, and decision-making. Integrate secure and scalable AI/ML functionality into enterprise software applications. Derive insights and communicate findings through data storytelling, visualization, and analytic narratives. Assess AI/ML technology trends and their strategic implications. Conduct independent technical research in robotics, autonomy, software engineering, and data science. Program systems to detect, analyze, and respond to specific conditions in real-time. Required Skills & Experience

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS SCI with POLY

Proven ability to automate customer workflows and business processes using AI/ML solutions. Strong background in

data structures, data modeling, and software architecture . Hands-on expertise with

PyTorch, TensorFlow, and other ML frameworks . Advanced

math and computer science skills

with deep knowledge of probability, statistics, and algorithms. Proficiency in AI/ML programming languages:

Python, Java, C++, Conda , etc. Experience in training AI models and integrating pre-trained models into dataflows and enterprise systems. Highly Desired Skills

Experience implementing

secure AI solutions

within the Intelligence Community. Background working with

highly sensitive data sets . Leadership in AI/ML initiatives and projects. Expertise with

ETL pipelines

(Extract/Transform/Load). Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in

Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Strong

problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills . Salary range: 230-250k
