The Powertrain Software Integration Engineer is a key

onsite US position

which integrates, tests and releases production software for Powertrain Control Module family. The successful candidate interacts with multi-disciplinary "Feature Teams" to integrate embedded software. They are tasked with identifying and reporting production issues to Feature Team Leaders. The Engineer will work with configuration Management tools, compilation configuration, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, debugging sessions with software teams to root cause integration issues, internal Calibration database tool, and participate in Physics Model based release process. Configuration Management is done using AccuRev and Git. The testing is performed in the simulator environment using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) using INCA, Provetech, Control Desk and others. The successful candidate will use these tools to integrate software and follow the release process to release software, including the development of all supporting documentation (includes release process updates, test reports and ECU Memory usage data). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software testing, preferably in the automotive domain Good experience in Configuration Management tools such as Serena, AccuRev and Git. Good experience in ETAS INCA Tool, Control desk or related tool. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and concepts. Ability to read and write software in C, C++, Python Knowledge of Lauterbach/or any other debugger. Experience in agile methodologies. Experience on microcontroller in initial configuration. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written English.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience. Strong experience working in multi-disciplinary teams. Strong project coordination skills. Strong understanding of the development of embedded software. Flexibility - must be able to adapt to changing environment with minimal effect on productivity.
