Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Patient ratio of 5:1 on night shift • Work on a 33-room unit with up to 49 patients utilizing some semi-private rooms • Use telemetry monitoring equipment • Work with Meditech EMR system • Required certification: BLS • Med/Surg background required • Experience with spinal cord injury (SCI) patients preferred • Perform wound care, occasional bowel programs, and light burn care • Care for surgical flap patients and spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention • Partner with burn unit to care for low-acuity burn patients • Ideal for RNs who enjoy working on a busy medical floor • Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1.5 techs, and 5-6 RNs Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center featuring specialized units including a busy medical floor with expertise in caring for surgical flap patients and spinal cord injury cases. The facility partners with specialized burn units and utilizes modern telemetry monitoring systems.
