Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Orthopedics Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • 1:5 nursing ratio with 5-patient assignment • Must work independently managing 5 patients • Surgical unit experience required • Pain management experience preferred • Orthopedic experience preferred • Perform typical procedures including dressing changes and aspiration • Work with diverse patient population including elective orthopedic and trauma patients • Use Meditech EMR system • Must demonstrate positive attitude and team player qualities • Work with dedicated nursing team focused on patient experience and quality outcomes Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 20-bed orthopedic medical-surgical unit located on the 9th floor of the main hospital building. The facility maintains excellent nursing ratios and emphasizes great teamwork among staff. The unit specializes in caring for both elective orthopedic patients and orthopedic trauma cases, providing comprehensive care with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences and quality clinical outcomes.
