Job Description:

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic with expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of machinery used in zinc and aluminum die casting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hydraulic presses, machining centers, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and uptime of equipment to support production operations.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues in trim presses and other machinery.

Utilize electrical and hydraulic schematic diagrams to pinpoint problems and determine necessary repairs.

Test and replace faulty components to restore equipment functionality.

Preventive Maintenance:

Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

Identify potential issues and address them proactively to ensure continuous operation.

Technical Knowledge:

Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.

Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in machinery maintenance and repair.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Document diagnostic processes and repair solutions for future reference.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification .

Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance, focusing on electrical and hydraulic systems.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and controls.

Knowledge of hydraulic components and systems, including pumps, valves, and actuators.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to systematically troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues.

Experience in using diagnostic tools and equipment to measure voltage, pressure, and other system parameters.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy components and work in confined spaces.

Manual dexterity and precision in performing repairs and maintenance tasks.

Additional Information:

Work Environment:

The role requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, grease, and other industrial conditions.

Safety gear and protocols must be adhered to at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

10-hour shift

Day shift

4/10 Schedule, Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm
