Description
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and providing leadership to direct reports in the Shipping & Receiving Department, maintaining oversight of all Shipping Department activities, ensuring inventory accuracy as well as material flow throughout production in support of customer satisfaction with overall responsibility of shipping finished product to the customer on time, complete and undamaged. Responsibilities include oversight of all OS&D claims with carriers and management of carrier relationships and scorecards. This role will also oversee the Cleveland brand parts and accessories shipping as well as the distribution of finished goods.
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, this position is based in Mayfield Heights, OH*.
Qualifications
Major Accountability Lead and manage all warehouse activities: receiving, shipping, storage, returns, and light assembly work Ensure warehouse activities are tracked accurately, and transactions are executed timely to maintain accurate inventory control Maintains/Manages freight compliance in all loading and unloading of materials to ensure conformance to Regulatory and Corporate Standards, including CTPAT compliance and certification for the location. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage parts orders for Cleveland customer needs as required. Review ship schedules and coordinate required carriers through either the carrier representative or individual freight carriers while maintaining strong relationships with carrier representatives to ensure availability of trucks and timely deliveries Maintain open communications with Production Control and Customer Service regarding ship dates, changes, and special instructions to ensure on-time shipments for customer satisfaction. Provide leadership to direct reports in the preparation of shipping documents, establish appropriate files, and maintain shipping logs of all activities Ensure inventory accuracy via oversight of Receiving personnel, cycle counts, and material flow throughout the manufacturing facility Engage in all required human resource activities to include recruitment, coaching, counseling, performance management, associate development, etc. Oversee compliance of all Safety, Quality, Housekeeping and Lean Standards in all Shipping/Receiving and Stockroom areas. Consistently operate in a manner that aligns to the Company Core Values. Specialized Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Associate's Degree in business Administration with a minimum of 8 years' experience in logistics or supply chain or a High School diploma with a minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics or supply chain (Manufacturing, Shipping/Receiving) in lieu of degree required. Intermediate level expertise in MS Office package Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, Familiarity with production systems and processes, analytical thinker, Knowledge of DOT regulations, Must understand the fundamentals of carrying out human resource duties.
