This position offers a base pay range of $100k -130k plus production, unmatched work/ life balance, clinical support, Signing Bonus Packages, and more!
Join Our Team: Care Animal Hospital, located in the vibrant suburb of Arlington Heights, IL, is looking for a passionate Associate Veterinarian to join our full-service, five-doctor team. Our hospital is ideal for both new graduates seeking strong mentorship and experienced veterinarians looking to grow their careers in a collaborative, well-equipped environment. We have proudly served the community since 1971.
State-of-the-Art Facility:
Our facility is truly one-of-a-kind. We feature a comprehensive rehabilitation area that includes a therapy pool, underwater treadmill, laser therapy, and an electronic stimulation tub. Advanced diagnostics are at your fingertips with an on-site CT scanner, ultrasound, electrocautery, ligasure and laparoscopy. Our immense surgical center is outfitted with top-tier equipment, making complex procedures efficient and safe. The practice also features two spacious reception areas for smooth client flow and a convenient drive-through pharmacy. From a fully equipped dental suite to a complete in-house laboratory, we have everything you need to practice high-quality medicine.

Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems Treat and dress wounds Perform surgery on animals Test for and vaccinate against diseases Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments Prescribe medication Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal Strong fondness and understanding of animals Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of animal behavior Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
