Schneller is seeking a results-driven

Senior Process Engineer

to lead improvements across our compounding, coating, printing, lamination, embossing, and CNC cutting operations. In this role, you'll not only optimize processes and equipment performance but also provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and manage cross-functional projects that directly impact throughput, cost, quality, and safety.

This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, driving innovation on the plant floor, and leading teams to deliver sustainable improvements in efficiency, manufacturability, and scalability.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor process engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to build technical expertise and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Manage and execute complex projects from concept to implementation, including new product scale-up, equipment upgrades, and process validation. Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and productivity Drive and facilitate root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained. Author and maintain process documentation (FMEAs, control plans, Standard Work Instructions) to ensure reliability and standardization. Collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Sales teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products Champion productivity, safety and infrastructure improvement initiatives leveraging internal resources, capital investment and vendor partnerships. Provide clear technical direction, progress updates, and executive-level reporting on project outcomes What We're Looking For

B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Polymer, or Industrial). 5-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or process engineering. Proven track record in leading technical projects and managing cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills; hands-on troubleshooting expertise. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence at all levels. Comfortable balancing plant-floor engagement with strategic leadership responsibilities. To conform with US export regulations and ITAR 120.15 and EAR Part 772, incumbents for this role must be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government. Preferred Experience

Demonstrated leadership in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs. Controls and Instrumentation (PLC/HMI programming, sensor integration, automation projects). Web handling, converting, laminating, or wide-web printing processes. Experience with ISO 9000 systems, MRP systems, BOM management, and change control. Background in high-mix, make-to-order, or custom manufacturing environments Why Join Schneller?
