Schneller is seeking a hands-on
Process Engineer
to support and improve our compounding, coating, printing, lamination, embossing, and CNC cutting operations. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to scaling new processes, optimizing equipment performance, reducing waste, and improving throughput, quality, and safety across manufacturing.
This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives on solving problems at the intersection of technology and production, enjoys being on the plant floor, and wants to make a measurable impact on efficiency, cost, and sustainability.
What You'll Do
Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and productivity. Lead root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement projects. Support scale-up of new products and processes, including equipment selection, installation, and upgrades. Develop process documentation (FMEAs, control plans, Standard Work Instructions). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Sales) to ensure manufacturability of new products. Manage capital expenditure and continuous improvement projects. What We're Looking For
S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Polymer, or Industrial) 2-5 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience. Strong problem-solving, data analysis and communication skills. Hands-on experience with process troubleshooting and equipment optimization. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. To conform with US export regulations and ITAR 120.15 and EAR Part 772, incumbents for this role must be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government. Preferred Experience
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools. Controls and Instrumentation (basic programming/HMI updates/Sensor Integration). Web handling, converting, laminating, or wide-web printing processes. Experience with ISO 9000 systems, MRP, BOM management, or similar. Why Join Schneller?
