2nd Shift → 4:00 PM - 2:15 AM (Mon-Thu)

Industrial Maintenance experience in a Manufacturing/Production enviornment is required. Emphasis on electrical and/or PLC is highly preferred Leadership experience desired but not required

The maintenance technician troubleshoots and repairs complex machine tools, manufacturing process equipment, and assembly equipment, along with general building repairs and facilities equipment. Follows specifications, prints, manuals and schematic drawings. Uses hand tools, power tools, hoists and cranes, forklift and electrical/electronic test equipment. Applies principles of basic electricity and mechanics to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form.

Responsibilities: Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems. Studies blueprints, sketches, machine parts, or specifications to determine defective items and repairs needed. Visually inspects and tests machinery to detect or prevent wear, misalignment, or other problems. Detects equipment malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with plant manager or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Realigns and adjusts equipment and components. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Assists engineering and production in modifications of machines and processes for improvement activities and launch of new equipment. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery. Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Operate metal working tools and equipment to cut or join metal parts and components. Provides other maintenance, production, or operations support as directed by supervisor or management. Operates forklift, scissor lift, power pallet jack or manual carts or pallet jacks to unload, move or store materials. Follows all safety procedures including PPE requirements. Follows work instructions and pays attention to details. Achieves/performs daily targets and output for maintenance. Follows work practices that are in the guidelines of OSHA standards. Follows all Environmental Health and Safety rules and ISO requirements. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 5s requirements, rules, and regulations. Must be able to work required overtime as needed. Work with members of leadership and quality to solve issues.
