Process Engineer
for a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer in Duncan, SC. This role will focus on optimizing
injection molding processes, training technicians, and driving continuous improvement efforts
in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This position is
Direct Hire ,
M-F 1st shift . The
pay range is $80,000 - $90,000
depending on experience.

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a technician, engineering, or process role in a molding and assembly-manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience) Strong understanding of injection molding processes and tooling Computer literacy and problem-solving skills Ability to train, lead, and collaborate cross-functionally
What Your Role Will Look Like: The
Process Engineer
will be responsible for ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This includes hands-on work with tooling, process troubleshooting, machine optimization, and team training.
Perform tool changeovers and start up processes with end-of-arm tooling Monitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain process stability Identify and resolve root causes of process issues (machines, tools, settings) Improve machine efficiency and overall utilization Maintain high-quality standards across all injection molding machines Analyze and address customer returns from a process standpoint Train process and setup technicians on proper use of equipment and settings Optimize setup of injection mold tools and secondary equipment Collaborate with Planning to maximize uptime and minimize changeover time Provide absence coverage for Process Technicians when needed Support ongoing 5S activities Participate in projects assigned by plant or technology leadership Perform other duties as assigned
