Job Description:
He/She will be reporting to Global SAP Basis Manager and will be responsible for providing end to end Basis Support to internal business.
The work portfolio provides opportunity and learning curve in supporting diversified sap products and direct business interactions with cross cultural teams across the globe.
Responsibilities:
Handle SAP Basis related Tickets and resolve them as per the SLA. Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Solman, GRC, Fiori etc.) Support system installations, migrations, and upgrades (including EHP and kernel updates) Manage transport requests and follow SAP Change Management processes Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using SAP tools (e.g., ST22, SM21, SM37, ST06) Support backup and recovery procedures, including database and OS-level coordination Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve BASIS-related issues Document technical procedures and contribute to knowledge base
Requirements:
4 - 5 years of SAP BASIS experience in a production support environment Strong understanding of SAP architecture and components (NetWeaver, HANA, etc.) Experience with SAP system copies, client administration, Printer Management, RFC Interfaces and transport management Should possess hands on experience in handling Level2 SAP Basis Tickets with minimal support Should possess basic ITIL framework knowledge Perform after hour maintenance and emergency on call work as needed Familiarity with OS (Linux/Windows) and DB (HANA/Max DB/Sybase ASE) environments Exposure to Azure Cloud platforms and SAP Cloud Connector is a plus Good Problem Solving skills, communication and documentation skills Systematic and structured work behavior, Self Motivated and Driven Work from office is mandatory for at least three days a week.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or any relevant degree Certifications in SAP HANA, S/4HANA, NetWeaver administration are added advantage
