Job Description Job Opportunity: OR Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical services, specifically in a Level I Trauma Center environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols. Maintain a sterile environment and assist in surgical procedures as needed. Participate in on-going training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license - Required BLS and ACLS certifications - Required Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience required Charge experience is a plus Experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro cases (specifically craniotomies) Level I Trauma experience required; candidates with recent Level II Trauma experience in similar facilities may be considered Position Details
Type of Facility: Short-Term Acute Care Shift: 3x12 (18:30 - 07:00) Ratios: 1:1 Weekend Requirement: As needed, usually every 3rd weekend On-Call Requirement: No call expected Floating Requirements: No floating between units required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week, with potential to call off 6 times throughout a 13-week assignment Facility Highlights
