Overview:
A-1 Staffing is a trusted employment agency based in South Omaha, dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with leading employers across a wide range of industries. We are currently partnering with a reputable painting contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial and residential painting services throughout the region. Our client is seeking a dependable and experienced painter to contribute to projects ranging from home interiors to large-scale commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, caulking, and patching holes or cracks Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers Read and interpret work orders, plans, and specifications Protect nearby surfaces with drop cloths, tape, or other coverings Maintain a clean and safe work environment Mix and match paint colors for uniformity Erect and dismantle scaffolding or ladders as needed for high-reach areas Perform touch-ups and final finishes to ensure quality standards Interact professionally with clients, property owners, or site managers Qualifications:
1+ years experience as a painter in both commercial and residential settings Knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Physical stamina to stand, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50lbs Reliable transportation to job sites Benefits:
Weekly pay Pays $19.00-$30.00/hour, depending on experience Health benefits 401(k) with company match
