Overview:
A leading food and beverage manufacturer is hiring Maintenance Technicians to support high-speed production operations at our Burlington facilities. These roles are critical to maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring consistent product quality.
Tech A (Advanced):
Experienced in electromechanical maintenance with strong PLC/electrical troubleshooting skills. Tech B (Intermediate):
Solid mechanical/electrical foundation with the ability to grow into advanced troubleshooting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production and utility equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to resolve downtime issues. For Tech A: Connect to PLCs/HMIs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred) for troubleshooting, adjustments, and root cause analysis. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals to guide repair work. Document activities in CMMS and daily logs with accuracy. Support equipment installations, commissioning, and upgrades. Collaborate with operations/engineering to improve processes and equipment performance. Maintain compliance with GMP, OSHA, food safety, and company safety standards. Mentor junior techs (Tech A). Qualifications:
Required
High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (Tech B). 4+ years of industrial electromechanical maintenance experience (Tech A). Knowledge of AC/DC motors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical drive systems. Ability to read and apply electrical and mechanical schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced settings. Preferred
Associate's degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix and SCADA systems. Food/beverage or high-speed packaging experience. Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Exposure to wet, humid, hot, cold, and noisy production environments. Regularly stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and lift 50 lbs (up to 75 lbs with assistance). Compensation & Benefits:
