Assistant Principal of Academic Excellence is a highly skilled leader dedicated to bridging instructional leadership with systemic improvement. This role focuses on enhancing academic rigor, fostering student-centered instructional practices, and supporting the continuous professional development of teachers. By implementing data-driven practices and innovative strategies, the Assistant Principal will help cultivate a culture of academic excellence across the campus. Working closely with instructional support coaches, faculty, staff, and district leadership, this leader will drive instructional effectiveness, integrate cutting-edge teaching methods, and ensure that all students receive a high-quality, equitable education. The role requires deep pedagogical knowledge, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead change while maintaining a student-centered focus.
Qualifications: Education/Certification:
Master's degree in Education Administration Texas assistant principal or other appropriate Texas certificate T- TESS Certified Appraiser Major Responsibilities and Duties: • Innovative Instruction & Technology: Implement effective teaching practices and leverage digital tools to drive academic excellence, student achievement, and engagement • Professional Learning Communities (PLCs): Cultivate collaborative teacher communities that encourage reflective practice and ongoing professional growth. • Coaching & Mentorship: Support teachers in integrating effective instructional strategies based on student data and research-based best practices. • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Analyze assessments, student performance, feedback, and behavioral data to assess instructional effectiveness, guide interventions, and track academic progress • Professional Development: Design and execute training programs aligned with campus and district goals to strengthen teaching capacity. • Curriculum Development: Support differentiated curriculum design to ensure high achievement and personal growth for all students. • Holistic Student Success: Foster a student-centered approach that integrates academic and social- emotional learning for comprehensive student development.

Salary: $74,000 - $89,693 • Salary determination will be basesd on verified relevant work experience • Salary will be adjusted to the start date
Program Stipend: • Stipends include additional days during the program academic year as outlined in the stipend agreemet • ***STIPENDS ARE GRANT FUNDED*** • FUTURE FUNDING IS BASED UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE GRANT
