$ 17.50/hour Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly / Soldering Technician to assemble sub-assemblies and components of sealed switches for a variety of customer applications. This role involves hand soldering to J-Standard, assembling components, performing quality checks, and preparing finished products for shipment or storage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform hand soldering and assemble components into nests or fixtures, ensuring proper fluxing, positioning, and cooling. Manually hold or control components during assembly operations. Wash, pressure test, or repair components as required. Conduct subsequent operations including wire brushing or machine staking. Follow blueprints, drawings, sketches, work orders, process sheets, and verbal or written instructions. Execute material handling procedures for work order processing and inventory maintenance. Prepare finished work for shipment or storage. Report defective materials or unusual conditions immediately to the supervisor. Maintain personal production and quality standards. Perform quality control functions as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Perform additional related duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or GED. 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or training preferred. Experience with J-Standard soldering and electro-mechanical wiring preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Manual dexterity to manipulate small parts. Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; must pass standard eye test. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 5-10 lbs. frequently, and up to 5 lbs. constantly. Ability to stand or sit for long periods (up to 10 hours/day). Work may be performed in a clean room environment. Exposure to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils may occur. Pay Details:
$17.50 per hour
