Massage Therapy Hospice Volunteer
Purpose:
To provide calm and comfort to hospice patients through touch and massage therapies. Responsibilities: Provide gentle, supportive massage at patient request Be willing to adapt techniques to suit patients who may be elderly, frail, or in pain Respect patient's home environment and personal preferences Requirements: State of Ohio Massage Therapy License (current) Hospice orientation & training Health and safety screenings (including TB test and Flu shot) Time Commitment: Minimum of one visit per month for at least 6 months Volunteers are an integral part of our team and the service they provide helps us to continue to fulfill our mission.
