Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a WI or compact RN license and the ability to interpret and sign off on tele strips.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00 Required to work every other weekend Care for adult medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring Epic EMR experience is preferred Completion of required modules during the first 8 hours of orientation is expected Travel pairs are accepted for this position Past staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year to return as traveler Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate with a 50-mile radius rule applying First time travelers will be considered Holiday rotation and coverage may be required as scheduled
Requirements Active WI or compact RN license in hand Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience Current BLS and NIHSS certifications in hand before start Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips Two professional references from within the last year, including one from the most recent assignment No latex allergies as latex-free accommodations cannot be provided
