Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position, requiring a current WI or compact license and day shift availability.
Responsibilities Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting Provides care for adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring 12-hour day shifts (4 days per week) from 7:00 to 19:00 Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred Modules are completed during the first 8 hours of orientation Floating may be expected per hospital needs Responsible for caring for adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry interventions Orientation modules average 3-4 hours and are non-billable if completed within designated time Traveling pairs accepted for this assignment Candidates living within a 50-mile radius are considered local Must report any required time off in advance for consideration No holiday or specific weekend shift expectations were specified
Requirements Active Wisconsin or compact RN license required in hand at time of application Previous experience in Med/Surg Tele preferred Two professional supervisor references required upon offer No latex allergies can be accommodated Must be gone from the facility for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
