About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Senior Data Architect
to lead enterprise-level data initiatives and drive scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. This is a long-term, 100% onsite role in Marysville, OH, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data platforms, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and shape the organization’s data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate high-level business requirements into scalable data models, metadata, and data quality standards.
Define and enforce data governance, security, and quality frameworks.
Architect
databases, warehouses, and lakes
to ensure optimal storage, performance, and compliance.
Work with AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Kinesis, and other modern tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Business Analysts, Data Science) to deliver business-focused solutions.
Lead peer reviews, quality assurance, and mentor technical teams.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend best-fit solutions.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience
in designing and implementing enterprise data models using
Erwin/ERX/ER Tools .
Strong background in
cloud data lakes, data warehousing, and data modeling .
Hands-on expertise with
AWS, Kafka, Kinesis, Dataflow, Redshift, Snowflake, and Databricks .
Experience with multiple databases:
DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB .
Knowledge of
data security, metadata systems, BI tools (Informatica, Power BI, Tableau) .
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
