Marketing Manager - Dental Service Organization

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Marketing Manager
to lead the marketing function for a growing dental service organization with nine locations across Central Massachusetts. This individual will oversee a team of Practice Relations Directors (PRDs) while managing relationships with external vendors, spearheading referral and grassroots marketing efforts, and coordinating company-wide events, including our continuing education programs.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of strategic planning, team leadership, vendor management, and active community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-location small business marketing, with a proven ability to manage both B2B and B2C initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Practice Support Provide direct leadership and oversight to PRDs, ensuring they effectively build and maintain referral relationships within their territories. Visit practices and referring providers regularly to maintain strong relationships and support escalations as needed. Monitor and support field-based PRD activity, ensuring alignment with company goals and effective regional coverage. Marketing Strategy & Vendor Management
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive patient acquisition, referrals, and overall brand visibility. Manage relationships with third-party vendors including PPC, digital marketing, and reputation management partners. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring accountability, performance, and alignment with budgetary goals. Oversee grassroots marketing efforts, ensuring community presence and localized outreach. Event Planning & Execution
Coordinate and oversee all company events, including continuing education programs for providers. Manage all logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, registration, marketing materials, and event-day execution. Ensure quality, attendance, and overall success of events, delegating tasks to team members while maintaining accountability for outcomes. Financial & Performance Oversight
Monitor marketing budgets and campaign performance, ensuring ROI and adherence to spending controls. Provide regular reporting on campaign effectiveness, referral growth, and practice-level marketing performance. Collaborate with leadership to refine strategies based on data and performance insights. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership, preferably in multi-location healthcare, dental, or related service industries. Demonstrated experience managing external vendors, contracts, and marketing campaigns. Strong event planning and execution experience, including professional education or customer engagement events. Solid understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles, grassroots marketing, and community outreach. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel regularly throughout Massachusetts to practices and referring providers.
