Job Title:Technical - Research Support Technician Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Neenah, WI (hybrid) Contract Duration: 3 months 3 day(s)
Job Description: Looking for a candidate who: Adapts swiftly to new tools and technologies Has a keen eye for catching errors and irregularities Enjoys tackling challenges and finding solutions Adjusts easily to changing circumstances and challenges Is self-driven, works independently, and able to shift/prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Assignment Description: • Creating documents needed for collecting data for Consumer Product Studies. • Process collected data and load to the database. • Manipulate and work with data in Excel Spreadsheets. • Key data from source documents. • Learn applications and processes in order to problem solve and dive into issues that may occur. • While this position is a data entry role, there are various other tasks that may be required: o Setting up electronic questionnaires o Using Quarkxpress for paper backups o Filing study materials for record retention
Position is hybrid- must be able to be onsite during the week when they are doing record retention as it's physical paper records/files they are working with that cannot leave the office facility. Other work could be done remote as needed. Schedule is flexible- no specific time they'd be required onsite for these duties but usually the direct manager is onsite until about 2pm during the week (candidate should be onsite during same timeframe).
Hours will average roughly 12-15 hours/week (NOT FULL TIME). This candidate will eventually split their hours between 5 different assignments/POs in Beeline so they need to have a technical understanding of how that would work.
This position is not just data entry/copying and pasting data into systems. This is more technical, candidates need to be able to look at the data and understand what may be wrong with it/troubleshoot or understand that something doesn't look right. They need to almost be the type of person to problem solve/outside of the box thinking with curiosity rather than just following step by step instructions given to them
