Reviews tenders for air and ocean from clients and provides the necessary deliverables and coordinates processes among the Tender Management Team, Product Group and Sales. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Reviews bids for critical items such as financials, NDA, payment terms, due dates, etc. Breaks down bids by country and high tonnage lanes, and passes to Bid Team country holder Coordinates meetings with Sales Associates, Country Managers, Vertical Leads and RFQ Team to discuss strategy Maintains and tracks Bid Team KPIs Leads the development of complex pricing strategies from the client’s technical requirements. Reviews statement of work packages and coordinate requirements with other internal department’s throughout the organization. Develop pricing utilizing historical data, analysis, logistical requirements from diverse sources of data for the cost of shipping, freight forward and handling and storage of the client’s assets. OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and analytical skills Strategic thinking skills with strong business analytic skills Strong computer skills associated with the utilization of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project Other software skills as needed such as Visio, Access, Outlook etc. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering/Business/Supply Chain or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of related experience Industry experience a plus CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES Professional certification may be required in some areas.
