Sr. Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Location: IAH1 USA Houston TX, 1500 Rankin Road, Houston, TX 77073, USA
The role assists with functions relative to cargo operations and vessel positions, including updates, documents, commercial requests, and inquiries. Key responsibilities include:
Working cooperatively with the government operations team to ensure compliance with government contracts
Holding weekly, monthly, and quarterly discussions with the CRAF (Civil Reserve Air Fleet) partner on key performance indicators
Supplying the CRAF partner with necessary monthly reports outlined in each government contract
Supporting the government operations team regarding Government Bills of Lading
Working cooperatively with the Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team on representation and certification documents related to government contracts
Supporting the GTC’s control tower efforts relative to licensable shipments
Communicating government agencies information to clients and principals and overseeing customer updates
Attending government workshops and meetings
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
Organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
Familiarity with fleet classes of vessels and local port infrastructure
Experienced in trade compliance with logistic knowledge of port and terminal procedures and regulations preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or Business, or equivalent work experience
Prior experience with Military Logistics preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certification/Licenses:
Professional certification may be required in some areas
Physical Requirements:
Required to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps; reach; stand; walk; talk; and hear
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
May require extended sitting or standing when using standard office equipment
Subject to environmental conditions both inside and outside, with no effective protection from weather, with sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard, and to physical hazards, such as moving parts, vehicles, electricity, heights, and large bodies of deep water
Protective gear and full PPE will be supplied by the Company
