Drive design and development of electrical control systems. Lead schematic design, panel design, PLC and HMI programming, and integration of industrial networks. Participate in design reviews with project stakeholders and provide regular updates. Supervise testing, debugging, and prototype development. Visit vendor sites for component inspection and testing. Collaborate with field teams and procurement to source required components. Maintain knowledge of NEC and current control technologies. Support sales and marketing with advanced technical expertise. Oversee design-build phases, ensuring successful production and installation. Position Requirements
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card holder). Bachelors degree in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. E.I.T. credential with plans to pursue P.E. licensure. 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a Masters) in control system design. Proficient with Rockwell Studio 5000, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and motor controllers. Strong knowledge of control system architecture, functional safety, and NEC. Ability to interpret schematics and generate technical documentation. Experience with custom project risk management and interdisciplinary collaboration. Effective communicator with strong analytical and time management skills. Willingness to travel 5-10% domestically and internationally. Preferred Requirements
Masters degree in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering. P.E. licensure. Experience with Siemens controls. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Familiarity with Visual Basic and/or C. Reasons to Apply
