Description Conduct evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient environments to create tailored treatment plans Deliver physical therapy interventions focusing on mobility, endurance, strength, and functionality Work hand-in-hand with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes Guide patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercises Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory standards Engage in collaborative care rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution Certifications
Valid state licensure as a
Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are a bonus but not mandatory Skills
Prior clinical experience is highly desirable Ability to provide care for patients with complex medical conditions and mobility challenges Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation practices Benefits
