About the Position
The Temporary Recruiter assists the Recorders Office in its recruitment efforts for the elections and other administrative tasks. The recruiter will assist with screening candidates, coordinating onboarding, and performing other office-related tasks. About Us
The Maricopa County Recorders Office (MCRO) is responsible for maintaining the Maricopa County voter registration records and for administering elections in partnership with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The MCRO also maintains the permanent public record of over 50 million documents dating back to 1871, including deeds, plat maps, and a variety of other important documents. Our office serves over 2.5 million registered voters as well as 4.4 million residents across Maricopa County. The MCRO offers a friendly, welcoming, and collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and develop new skills. Experience in data entry from a document into a database Experience in keyboard and desktop navigation Must be able to type a minimum of 35 words per minute (WPM) with accuracy Experience in researching and gathering information A High School diploma or GED An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-by-year basis. Experience with Workday or other Recruiting Systems preferred but not required. Job Contributions
Source and screen candidates through job boards, referrals, and networking. Manage job postings and applicant tracking system updates. Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring teams. Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Support the offer process and onboarding coordination. Performs other related duties as assigned. Working Conditions
Most work is performed in an office environment, so it may need to sit for extended periods of time. Selection Procedure
