The Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Analyst is the recognized resource for the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support for the reporting and data related needs of the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF), including recommending new and modified policies, ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, and assisting with provider enrollment and site audits. This position is responsible to identify and analyze data to determine knowledge and performance gaps based on beneficiary outcome data and develop and coordinate communications to address needs identified with a data driven approach. The analyst researches, collects, consolidates, analyzes, and maintains program data necessary to meet program reporting and evaluation requirements at both a state and federal level. The analyst prepares required reports of the PRTF services in preparation for annual and quarterly reporting and provides technical guidance to PRTF Providers. This position is continuously analyzing the effectiveness of this Medicaid benefit through data and narrative reporting from the providers to inform policy. The analyst recommends policy and procedure improvements to the providers, based on data, to promote quality services through this benefit. The analyst maintains the referral and waitlist of beneficiaries and provides this information to internal stakeholders. This position identifies and proposes system and operational changes in the areas of community support, health care services, and implementation to enhance services and resources for the public mental health system in Michigan. Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a human services or data analytic related field preferred. Experience

Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service. Office Location

however,

this position has the ability to work hybrid

(combination of remote and office). Selected candidates who have been approved

to work hybrid
