Job Description This position is responsible for providing analysis and solution development for East Carolina University's Business Intelligence Center (ecuBIC) initiative. This position performs highly complex analytical software development activities associated with the design, creation, and implementation of new business intelligence solutions. Such projects comprise a range of special assignments that often integrate with larger enterprise level systems and use a variety of development tools to provide access to academic and administrative data residing in a number of diverse databases located on departmental servers and larger-scale systems. In summary, this position is responsible for developing and/or enhancing complex business intelligence solutions.

Duties Include: * Develop reporting solutions for customers using Microsoft SSDT, Power BI and Fabric * Review and debug SSRS daily logs * Triage client tickets to determine their priority, type, and estimate completion time * Assistance in installing and troubleshooting approved software and drivers on client machines.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) * Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases * Ability to read and write SQL/PLSQL queries * Experience in writing technical documentation * Having a basic understanding of Github
