Overview
We are looking for a
IT Systems Engineer
to join our dynamic and growing IT team. About the Role
Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 tenant with 300+ users, including all modules and core identity. Set up and maintenance of multiple Single Sign On environments. Microsoft Purview: sensitivity labels, retention labels/policies, DLP for M365/endpoint/cloud apps, Insider Risk, eDiscovery (Standard/Premium), Legal Hold. Perform root cause analysis for service interruptions, ensuring timely recovery and the prevention of recurring issues. Partner with legal/compliance on defensible retention, discovery workflows, and audit readiness. Enforce naming standards, lifecycle, role-based access, least privilege, and license optimization to reduce cost. Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies. Cloud backup solutions (for Microsoft 365 tenants). Core networking principles. About You
Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, with strong troubleshooting across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Intune. Solid experience with PowerShell and at least one of: Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or Power Automate. Proven delivery of Conditional Access, MFA, identity lifecycle, and hybrid identity (Entra Connect/Cloud Sync). Experience implementing Defender for Office 365/EOP, email hygiene (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), and transport/security policies. Familiarity with Purview (retention labels/policies, DLP, sensitivity labels) and eDiscovery workflows. Strong understanding of Zero Trust, least privilege, and secure collaboration patterns. Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management; strong ownership and urgency. Beneficial: Microsoft Certifications. Mergers/acquisitions and tenant-to-tenant migrations. Experience with Windows Autopilot, Mobile device management in Intune, and app packaging. JAMF for MacOS management. Integrating third-party EDR/Email security with Microsoft 365.
