Job Responsibilities Personalize Therapy Approaches: Assess individual patient requirements and design tailored therapy strategies to aid them in reaching their functional milestones. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and everyday living tasks. Collaborate with Diverse Healthcare Teams: Work intimately with OTs, PTs, STs, physician colleagues, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care. Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their families regarding clinical techniques to promote ongoing progress in a home environment. Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient developments and update treatment strategies as required, ensuring each patient remains on a positive trajectory. Education
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Continuing education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications
Valid
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license required NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) accreditation is mandatory Necessary Skills
