EHS Operations Coordinator
As the EHS Operations Coordinator, you will assist in implementing and tracking EHS initiatives, training, and LEAN processes. You will serve as the focal point for new employee onboarding (training) and the tracking of contractor safety training. Lean 5S auditing and recording of production operations are routine tasks you will be responsible for. This position is also responsible for assisting in the development of new processes. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate quarterly Health and Wellness events and committee. Conduct new hire EHS training. Incident reporting Enter data into database, liaise with corporate EHS, lead investigations and root cause analysis. Industrial Hygiene - Perform testing and follow up on results and action plans. Safety Committee - Organize and run the committee meetings. Coordinate physicals, conduct EHS training, conduct audits/assessments for JSA, LOTO, PPE and other safety requirements Monitor contractors and conduct contractor safety training as needed. Assist in management of site EHS procedures and update on eManual system. RCRA/DOT & HAZWHOPER acknowledge preferred. Help Exceed site goal, near misses/hazard reports by administering the program. Create and update production department work instructions, SOP, visual work aids. Create new process documents for new production processes as needed. Update site communication boards daily/weekly/monthly. Assist with 5S documentation and audits. Driving PAP Goals on the production floor (i.e. EHS Matrix, OTD, Productivity, Scrap) Recognizes and addresses issues, constraints and drives to results with functional team Accurate WIP Counts, Reduce Aging WIP, Cycle Counts as needed Engagement (i.e. Building Trust, Promotes Team Work, Positive work environment, Continuous Improvement) Assist in maintaining all employee badges and issue to new employees. Qualifications:
High school diploma required Prior EHS experience desired Customer service / operations experience required Proven computer skills, time management/prioritization skills, strong oral and written presentation skills.
