Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW)
is seeking a
fellowship-trained Uveitis Specialist
to join our growing faculty. This full-time, open-rank, academic position offers the chance to combine
world-class clinical care, teaching, and research
in a highly collaborative, physician-led department. The Opportunity
Provide outstanding patient care primarily at the
Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute , with additional clinical opportunities at the
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, and the Zablocki VA Medical Center .
Collaborate with 27 ophthalmology faculty members—including 10 named to
Best Doctors in America .
Enjoy exceptional
ancillary support and a full-time imaging department
equipped for wide-field FA and ICG.
Access to robust
basic science and clinical research infrastructure , with start-up support available for candidates interested in advancing research in uveitis or medical retina.
Contribute to MCW’s
longstanding NIH Core Grant for Vision Research , continuously funded for over 40 years.
Candidate Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible by the
American Board of Ophthalmology
Completion of a
Uveitis or Medical Retina Fellowship
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Wisconsin
Strong interest in
academic medicine , with enthusiasm for teaching residents, fellows, and medical students
Interest in
clinical or basic science research
strongly encouraged and supported
