What You Will Do

JOB SUMMARY

A proven process and control challenger who will execute ITG Brands' risk management strategies and programs by identifying and driving process and control improvements. Focused on creating more efficient and effective end-to-end processes and controls by understanding control objectives and thinking in an agile way, while driving change within the business that leads to an improved and efficient control environment.

Responsibilities to include, but limited to, coordinating and aligning with Group CoEs, Global Risk and Internal Control (GRIC), Global Business Services (GBS) and Financial Shared Services (FSS) to ensure a global best practice approach to support reporting needs. Accountable for understanding the Global process designs, influencing necessary changes, and engaging the appropriate stakeholders to ensure process and systems will meet regional needs to drive more efficient and effective end-to-end processes and controls for ITG Brands' and related entities. Responsible for ensuring the effective design and execution of internal controls based on the Global Controls Matrix (GCM) and to support change management across the US business to leverage the global systems and processes.

The ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence, across all functions to identify and actively facilitate business leaders to manage risks across the business, reducing the reliance on manual processes and controls by leveraging innovation and technology. To support with implementing changes both as an individual and team contributor, to existing controls and processes, including managing change through impact assessments and communication plans. Responsible for communicating plans and results with senior leadership, including UK parent.

Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor Degree

Degree Field(s):

Accounting or Finance

Work Experience:

7+ years

Supervisory Experience:

5+ years

License / Certifications:

CPA and/or MBA preferred

Related Work Experience

Business improvement, financial transformation, and evaluation of processes, policies, and procedures experience

Creative thinker and operational executor

Comfortable operating in an ambiguous landscape

Ability to influence decisions with communication that engages, highlights, and explains

Robust knowledge of risk management and internal control principles

Excellent organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results

High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency

Solid knowledge of financial statements, SOX, and controls

Experience working at a large CPA firm related to business improvement, financial transformation, evaluation of processes, and policies and procedures.
