We're working on behalf of a client seeking a Road Service Technician. Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to handle advanced troubleshooting and repairs independently. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications a plus 2-5 years of hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems Strong knowledge of wiring, circuitry, mechanical components, and controls Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Proficiency with diagnostic tools like voltmeters, megger meters, and PLCs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and sustain outdoor and indoor work conditions Excellent problem-solving skills with a safety-conscious mindset Main Responsibilities: Conduct independent diagnostics and repairs on electrical and mechanical failures Install and configure systems following technical drawings and specifications Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system functionality Collaborate with engineers and other departments to optimize performance Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members Document service activities thoroughly via reports and logs Assist with system upgrades and modifications as needed Maintain a clean, organized work environment and practice safety at all times Perks & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay, with Tech 2 roles ranging from $26 to $29 per hour, and Tech 3 earning $30+ Home every night, with daytime travel scheduled during working hours Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Supportive team environment emphasizing safety and quality Ongoing training and certifications Employment protective of your health and safety, including safety training programs Ready to bring your expertise to a team that values your skills?
