Quality Engineer

Responsibilities : Knowledge of ISO 9001, (current rev) to aid in maintaining QMS Knowledge of customer quality inquiries, investigate and perform root-cause analysis on customer issues and effectively resolve them (CAPA) (8D) Continuous Improvement Activities, Lean Manufacturing Principles, 5S, Kaizen Manage and perform Internal QMS Audits Material Review Board Quality Representative Perform data collection & analysis; SPC and DOE analysis Measurement system analysis (MSA) and Gauge R&R Qualifications : B.S degree in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline Prefer 5 years experience in Quality Engineering Technical QMS knowledge Certified Quality Engineer or other ASQ Quality Certification preferred or Automotive QMS experience preferred (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans) Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP software Exceptional communication skills, Ability to interact with all areas, Team player Required Skills : Knowledge of ISO 9001 Root-cause analysis Continuous Improvement Activities Internal QMS Audits Data collection & analysis Measurement system analysis Preferred Skills : 5 years experience in Quality Engineering Certified Quality Engineer or other ASQ Quality Certification Automotive QMS experience (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP software
