Construction Mechanical Engineering Manager
to join our team and lead quality assurance efforts across complex mechanical systems and installations. Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings, vendor shop drawings, and schematics to ensure quality and reliability. Validate field installations against construction documents and specifications. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate and resolve design-related delays. Conduct inspections of piping, utilities, plumbing, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment. Author non-conformance letters and detailed reports to uphold project standards. Qualifications
10+ years in the construction industry, with at least 4 years of direct site experience. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required). Strong background in commissioning, field quality control, and mechanical systems integration. Hands-on experience with water pumps, chillers, air handling units, plumbing, and airflow systems. Familiarity with EPMS, BAS, and controls systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documentation. Proven track record managing general contractors and delivering complex projects safely and efficiently. Mechanical engineering license or certification. Experience with equipment vendors or light industrial projects. Data center experience (not required but appreciated). Construction safety expertise. Strong communication and computer proficiency. Self-sufficiency and leadership in managing construction deliverables. Details
