Early Head Start Home Visitor Early Head Start (https://www.ofoinc.org/find-program/home-based-and-preschool-programs122/) is seeking compassionate “go-getters” to build relationships with parents and provide home-based services that promote the physical, cognitive, and social/emotional development of infants and toddlers.
As Home Visitor you will:
Conduct weekly home visits to enrolled families and organize monthly family engagement events
Guide parents to be their child’s first teacher and promote the home as a primary learning environment by introducing parents and other family members to fun educational activities and curriculum
Link families and children to community supports, healthcare, and other resources based on their strengths and needs
Promote program participation by attending outreach events, canvasing neighborhoods, and maintaining relationships with community service providers
This is a year-round position offering flexible hours and access to an agency vehicle/mileage reimbursement for travel within Otsego County. Occasional evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, family services, counseling or related field; a Family Development Credential (generally within 18 months of hire); and one year of experience in an early childhood program; valid, unrestricted New York State driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Pay Range Guide:
Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements
Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval)
