Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician performs skilled maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems. The primary emphasis for this position is the performance of a variety of maintenance tasks, with varying degrees of skill trades. Performs preventive maintenance tasks on all equipment. Fabricates metal structures through cutting and welding. Repairs and keeps physical structures maintained using hand tools and power tools. Observes safety precautions, rules, and regulations. Installs and repairs hydraulic equipment, valves and cylinders. Inspects, tests, repairs machinery, equipment and facility. Installs and repairs electrical equipment, transformer and wiring. Installs and repairs pneumatic equipment, valves and cylinders. Additional duties as assigned.
