Overview
Manager, Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement - Lanvera. Azure Cloud and Network Engineer position requiring on-site local candidates. Lanvera is a leading CCM (Customer Communications Management) outsourcing and technology company focused on secure customer communications across print, electronic, and mobile channels. The role supports a hybrid infrastructure with Azure and on-premises technologies and collaborates with IT, application development, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions. Responsibilities Support an application architecture that includes an Azure cloud and an on-premise VMware virtual Windows server environment for a software-driven financial service business. Implement capabilities to automate the creation and maintenance of environments on-premises and in Azure, utilizing Infrastructure as Code technology. Ensure High Availability leveraging capabilities of Microsoft Azure Cloud and Windows Clustering technology for a Hybrid environment. Maintain highly resilient backup and recovery systems, including regular testing of the disaster recovery procedure. Understand and administer Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper installations and networking gear; support switching, routing, and firewalls. Maintain Windows servers (Dell) and administer Active Directory and Group Policies. Manage HP Nimble storage arrays for optimal storage solutions; oversee server/storage technology in two Data Centers and a third office location. Enhance enterprise monitoring across on-premises and Azure to create a proactive security and performance posture. Document and implement policies for monitoring, backups, security, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. Support non-prod environments to facilitate efficient software development lifecycles (SDLC). Stay current on industry trends, architect future infrastructure solutions, and provide forward-looking hardware/software purchase recommendations. Adhere to change control and ITIL practices; collaborate with Security and Network teams to safeguard infrastructure systems. Communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders across the organization and work onsite in a collaborative software development environment. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Azure and Terraform and provide guidance accordingly.
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in public cloud design guidance/implementation to support growing business demands. Manage Exchange and Office 365 messaging systems. Develop scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to automate manual functions.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree 4+ years' experience in Azure 4+ years' experience administering Windows Server and AD environments 3+ years' experience supporting enterprise storage arrays 3+ years' experience supporting VMware 2+ years' experience developing and integrating hybrid cloud IT systems
Desired Skills
VMware VCP-DCV Certification (6.7 or above) Familiarity with Azure Cloud Linux support experience Microsoft 365 Certified HPE Master ASE (storage) Familiarity with automating processes using PowerShell or similar scripting language Experience with Telephony F5 is very desirable
