Lease apartments through telephone sales and in-person tours Build and maintain relationships with prospective and current residents Present the community in a professional manner at all times Coordinate move-ins and move-outs for a seamless resident experience Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and resident retention efforts Provide excellent customer service and maintain community standards Follow up and establish rapport with prospective and current residents Write work orders, follow up with residents, and enter information into Yardi Assist with rent collection and providing account information to the property supervisor and credit agencies Assist with resident relations and enforce all community rules and regulations Supervise neighborhood committee activities and establish rapport with local businesses and community agencies Assist with office organization and maintain organized resident files Other duties as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or GED No prior experience required Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and team members Basic math and reasoning skills Beginner experience with MS Office Ability to read, write, speak and interpret basic instructions and present information one-on-one or in small groups Commitment to customer service and professionalism Training Requirements
Annually attend fair housing, Section 42 and leasing classes Ongoing professional development Physical Demands
Rarely sit or lift up to 25 pounds; occasional standing, walking, talking, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions Close and distance vision required Work Environment
